While the original conception of CycloPraxis centers around business cycles, the same principles can apply to projects, product development, and society. Whole cultures proceed through different cycles, and when they do, members with praxes that don’t match the dominant paradigm suffer — even as those with favorable praxes look on with a mix of frustration and disdain.
It’s nobody’s fault that people don’t fit. It happens. The challenge here is to understand the nature of those struggles, so we can put them into a meaningful context.
In this paper, we’ll explore these different types of cyclical progressions. We’ll admittedly take a somewhat superficial, simplified view, for the sake of targeting the discussion. The point is, cycles happen. And some people fit better in some cycles than others.
